It’s nothing new, but each time and for each person it’s the collapse of their universe.
Losing love is painful, and many people try to escape from pain and other strong emotions in any affordable form of anesthesia. Maria Pleshkova (b. 1986) is a multidisciplinary artist working in photography, digital collage and video.
Her life and art are inseparably connected. In her work, Pleshkova explores the Microcosm, the human universe, and certain moments of the highest intensity of life. Her recent projects are mostly autobiographical, but the autobiography is just an excuse to talk about things which are universal and common to all humankind.
Pleshkova's works have been shown in Russia, France, Spain, Italy and Georgia.
