I am fascinated with ornaments.
I am inspired by nature. Spiral of shells, octopus’s tentacles, fishes’ tails, plants’ leaves, flowers and buds… All of them design links.
My work follows these natural designs to become a pictorial ornament.
Ornaments describe nature of humanity. Because ornaments have been developing with human behavior.
In the past ornaments had a spiritual meaning. But this meaning evolve into a neo-symbolism, I think.
I choose to produce my work with a mechanical lithograph printer. Because the texture resulting from the process gives an organic perspective.
